Step One: Consultation
We begin the design process with a proposal of your wedding stationery needs during the consultation. Consultations are either by email, phone or in person. Phone or in person consultations are by appointment only. This is a chance to get to know you and your tastes, style and individual personality. What do you love most about your chosen location? What is your color or theme? What do your flowers look like? Any little detail that will help us understand the dream that will soon be a reality on your wedding day. After you have approved the proposal, it can be mailed in along with the deposit. 50% deposit is due before the design process starts. For ceremony and reception items (programs, table numbers, etc.), payment is due in full.
Step Two: Timeline & Design Process
Once we receive your signed proposal and deposit, we will create a timeline for your invitation suite. Our normal timeline is delivery of invitations 2-3 months prior to your event. We present four design options for you to review. You will then have the opportunity to provide feedback and identify any changes you would like to make or new ideas you wish to incorporate into the final draft. After we discuss your comments, the changes are integrated into a revised version that is submitted to you for approval.
Step Three: Finalizing the Details
Before printing begins you will be sent the digital or tangible (depending on the design) “final proof.” At this time you will review and confirm that every detail is perfect: the layout, typestyle, spelling, grammar and punctuation. Please proof carefully as WeddingInvy is not responsible for any future changes or mistakes. The remaining balance will be due with this approval, and before the files are printed.
Step Four: We Go to Press
Once you have given final approval and the remaining balance is paid in full, the project will go to the printer for
production. Depending on the timeframe and type of printing methods, it can take between 1-4 weeks for you to
receive the final printed products.
